Easy Operation, Handy Remote You don’t have to turn the power on and off or select a source. Just set the iPod/iPhone in place and you’re ready to hear and choose your music. The small, handy remote works like your iPod controls, making it easy to browse menus and select songs. Previous Volume Memory and Volume Level Monitoring The PDX-31 remembers the volume level when you remove your iPod/iPhone, so the next time you dock it the volume is set to that level. In addition, if you (or a child) accidentally turn the volume way up, the PDX-31 reacts instantly to lower the sound, protecting both you and the speaker from a sudden loud burst of music.
